Entrepreneurs - How to End the Global Economic Crisis

In case you’ve been living under a rock, it’s pretty clear the economic crisis isn’t going away any time soon. President Obama and many world leaders seem to have mitigated the worst damage.  But that doesn’t mean we are out of this mess. Not by a long shot.

We have at least 10% of all people in the US looking for jobs. Yet all we hear about about is billion dollar bailouts for the biggest companies in the world. We see billions more for banks. But what will really get the world out of this economic mess are entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs create new businesses. They consume goods and services. They hire employees. They build, innovate and invent the future. Just ask Steve Jobs, Oprah Winfrey or Warren Buffett and they will all agree. Entrepreneurs are the real engine that drive sustainable economic growth.

It takes courage to be an entrepreneur. It means you are willing to work hard to make your dreams come true. It means you have an idea and you are willing to make it into reality. With nothing more than your wits, skills, determination, desire, hard work and some money, you are ready to take on the world. You are not afraid to reach for the prize!

More and more people are doing it every day. People just like you who are sick and tired of the Rat Race. People have said goodbye to stupid bosses and big companies that don’t care about anything. Did you know there have already been more new startups in the past 2 years than in the previous 5?

The odds say 50% of all new businesses will fail within 3 years. I say that means you have a 50% chance to succeed!  The good news is that with hard work, smart money management and a few lucky breaks, you can improve your odds.

Tens of thousands of people have started a new business to chase their dreams. They work nights and weekends, and love every minute of it. Not because they are suckers, but because they know they are investing in themselves! Hard work is mandatory if you even hope for a chance at success.

Smart money management is critical. The whole reason you are starting a business is to make money. Why would you spend it foolishly? Take care of your money and it will take care of you. So, no, you don’t need the new gadget, purse or toy; put it down and walk away. Save it for something that will help you make more money!

So that leaves lucky breaks. Look, I’ve been a small business owner for over 10 years. Hard work and hanging on to your money are not optional! But it’s really hard to get anywhere without a few lucky breaks.

Maybe that’s what scares away some people from trying? Maybe they are scared they won’t get those lucky breaks? The economy’s just too hard right now. Maybe they think they should wait for better times…

Whatever.

Now is the best time to start a business!  The biggest companies in the world are reeling. Many have been dealt a savage blow with this recession. Companies have gone into complete survival mode, slashing services and cutting costs. That means angry customers that are looking for a better deal. Remember that one person’s crisis is another’s opportunity. Don’t let this opportunity slip away!

Now is the perfect time for a smart, savvy entrepreneur to steal massive market share. If you can provide a better product or service at a competitive price, you will succeed. Period. Everywhere people are looking at new options and weighing new opportunities.

Now is the time to start your business. If you have ever had an idea…make into reality!  If you have ever had a dream…make it come true!  There are a million excuses to procrastinate…but if you ever wanted a chance to build something for yourself – stop making excuses and DO IT!

I realize it’s hard to do it alone. You need a lucky break.

So, because I genuinely believe that entrepreneurs will get us out of this economic mess and because I believe this is the best possible time to start a business, I am giving you your first lucky break.

First, let me tell you about myself so you can decide if I am on the level.  I have worked for 15 years in the technology industry. Ten years ago I started R-Squared Computing, a business technology coaching and consulting firm. We now have clients on three continents and are growing, in spite of the recession. Before that I worked in the software industry inventing everything from military-grade 3D software to internet video technologies. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly that technology has to offer.

More importantly, I have learned from hard experience.  I have seen what works and what doesn’t work.  I have seen million dollar companies ruined by poor management making dumb decisions.  And I have helped entrepreneurs grow small businesses into multi-million dollar companies. I have personally helped over 50 people grow million dollar companies by helping them pick the right tools to make their business better, faster and cheaper.

If you’ve made it this far, then I suppose you agree that I know what I am talking about.  Good.  Here’s your lucky break…
